 that it's important to look below the surface beyond what can be visually 
 seen to learn more about another person’s beliefs\, values\, norms and beh
 aviors. To be truly effective in work\, it's important to examine our bias
 es and assumptions about our colleagues\, constituents and clients. It is 
 also important to examine the cultural norms of the workspaces to uncover 
 barriers to equity and belonging.\n\nIn this workshop\, the Minnesota Coun
 cil of Nonprofits will unpack the layers of the cultural iceberg to gain a
  deeper understanding of how culture shows up in our business and organiza
 tion\, identify how implicit bias affects how to understand and support di
 fferent cultural identities and examine how our cultural norms are often b
 ased in whiteness and patriarchy.
